Welcome to the Toccoa Symphony Orchestra
​OUR SMALL TOWN COMMUNITY ORCHESTRA WITH THE BIG TOWN SOUND.

The TSO has engaged audiences of all ages through the years by performing dynamic and creative programming ranging from classical to popular music selections.
The full Orchestra of 50 - 60 talented musicians perform three concerts per year and features regional guests, instrumental soloists, and vocalists for a first-class music experience.

A HOMEGROWN CONCERT

Celebrate the grand finale of the season with The Homegrown Concert, spotlighting Georgia’s vibrant musical talent!
This special program weaves together a diverse range of styles of beloved classics and fresh, innovative compositions, all created or arranged by composers with deep ties to the state. Here's a sneak peak of what's to come:
​
- Soulful sounds of Georgia on My Mind by composer Hoagy Carmichael
- The World Premiere of the high-energy rhythms of Afrobeat in Fanfare by composer Desmond Ikegwuonu, Toccoa Falls College professor
- Lyrical beauty of Evening Harmony composed by Zachary Futch, based in Dahlonega, GA
- Savor the flavors, homemade recipe: nasi ulam composed by Emily Koh, UGA professor of composition
- Lullaby composed by former TSO maestro, David Stufft who will also guest conduct the piece
- Composer and TSO musician, Emily Blair to present Celtic Storm Suite, accompanied by a vocal sextet
- And everyone will be groovin' baby to the fun classic rock song, Love Shack by the B-52's , performed with string instruments!
